ZTE Grand S II To Feature 4GB Of RAM [Leak]

ZTE Grand S II

The beauty of Android is that manufacturers can innovate in terms of hardware with complete liberty. We’ve seen this happening with camera sensors, processors and even RAM modules of late. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the first to push the envelope with 3GB of RAM and now we’re hearing that Chinese manufacturer ZTE could take it even further with 4GB of RAM for its upcoming smartphone.

The manufacturer’s new Grand S II smartphone has just been spotted on the Chinese certification site TENAA, revealing a whopping 4GB RAM on the device.

Other specs of the smartphone include a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC and a 13-megapixel camera. The handset is also expected to come with a 3,000 mAh and Android 4.4 KitKat when it launches. So it’s clear that this is a flagship grade smartphone.

Interestingly, the Grand S II has leaked before on several occasions as well, but back then it was revealed to be sporting 2GB of RAM, so it seems like the manufacturer has made some last minute changes before the device got certified by the Chinese authorities.
