Google has just released and uploaded the official kernel files for both Samsung’s Gear Live (Sprat) and LG’s G Watch (Dory) to its Android Source Platform. For many of us, they’re not much use, but for developers they’re a godsend as they now have the tools to produce some awesome new features.

Apple’s Siri virtual assistant is getting better all the time, but Google Now still takes the biscuit, according to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster.

Munster ran both virtual assistants through a battery of tests, and shared the results in a new research note, published Tuesday. He concluded that Android’s voice search correctly answers questions asked 84 percent of the time, while Apple’s Siri follows up behind with a still impressive 82 percent correct rate.

Those still hoping to get their hands on a OnePlus One invite now have yet another giveaway to enter. At $299, it’s the first device to offer NVIDIA’s own next-generation Tegra K1 processor, and with the help of the Shield wireless controller, it wants to go head to head with the consoles in your living room.
