Android developers can finally begin testing 64-bit apps using Google’s new 64-bit Android L developer preview emulator. The release comes just weeks before Android L is expected to make its public debut, and it should finally kickstart the development of 64-bit Android software.

Besides the RE Camera, HTC also unveiled its newest member to the Desire family — the Desire EYE. This selfie focused handset comes with dual-13MP cameras (in the front and rear) along with two-tone dual-LED flash allowing you to capture “the big and small moments in perfect clarity.”

At its ‘Double Exposure event in New York today, HTC unveiled its own small handheld camera — the RE. The device is shaped like a PVC (or a periscope) to make it easier to grip and features an IP57 rating.

Smartphones made of metal are far fancier than their plastic counterparts, but like other metallic objects, they will bend with enough force. No, “Bendgate” is not exclusive to the iPhone 6 Plus; Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 4 — its first phablet to sport a metal chassis — will bend just as easily if you’re not careful with it.

Google has finally given Play Movies customers the ability to pre-order upcoming titles — if you live in the U.S. There are currently 15 movies to choose from — including 22 Jump Street and Guardians of the Galaxy — and they’ll be added to your library automatically on the day they become available.
