Motorola announced two editions of the third-generation Moto X at an event in late July, but one of them — the Moto X Play — won’t be launching in the U.S. At least not with that name.

However, new leaked images suggest it will arrive on Verizon as the DROID Maxx 2.

We’ve already learned that it’s incredibly easy to do great damage to the Galaxy Note 5 simply by reinserting its S Pen upside down, and most regard this as a design flaw. Except Samsung.

HTC appears to have given up on its own design language in an effort to make its next flagship smartphone an iPhone clone. Leaked images of the so-called HTC Aero look almost identical to an iPhone 6, with the same flat form factor and protruding camera.
