If you’re a user of the social app Path, you’ll be happy to know it received a nice update this past Friday, adding support for 720p displays such as the Galaxy Nexus, HTC Rezound, and others. The app worked fine on these device before the update, but the on-screen buttons were quite small and hard to use. The update also fixes some bugs and adds additional features such as:

The Motorola DROID 4 is rumored to be launching in the next week and this 4th generation QWERTY received a lengthy hands-on with the guys over at Wirefly. For those who prefer a phone with a physical keyboard, the DROID 4 takes the cake. It features a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 4″ qHD display, edge-lit 5-row keyboard and Verizon’s 4G LTE. It already has a landing page over at DROID DOES where you can check out all the specs, and now thanks to Wirefly, a nice first look. There are plenty of situations were you may want to keep your screen from automatically rotating its orientation (like typing while laying down). You may not be aware but there’s actually a setting that can be toggled to enable or disable your screen from automatically rotating. Once you know how to find it, you’ll be on your way to enjoying a fixed screen that won’t turn on you while your typing mid-sentence. If you’re looking to be the guy who confuses everyone when you whip out your phone (is that a phone, is that a tablet?) you’ll be happy to know that Best Buy is opening pre-orders this Sunday for the Samsung Galaxy Note on AT&T. To sweeten the deal, Best Buy is throwing in a free flip case upon activation, but you’ll have to be quick as it’s a limited supply with no rainchecks. Samsung has spent a lot of money on Super Bowl ads for the Galaxy Note and they’re hoping that 90 second spot garners enough interest to get you running to the computer to pre-order one.
