This year’s Consumer Electronics Show has already seen the unveiling of several impressive Android handsets, including the Sony Xperia Z, the Huawei Ascend D2, and the Pantech Discover. But we haven’t quite seen them all yet. Lenovo just announced a new smartphone of its own, and it’s quite a looker. Equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, the K900 is yet another “phablet,” but unlike the rest, this one’s equipped with an Intel Atom processor.

IK Multimedia has been making hardware and software for Mac and iOS for quite some time now. Many of the hardware accessories could work with Android, yet hadn’t the software support do do so. Until now, with IK Multimedia’s first foray into the Google Play store with iRig Recorder.

AT&T will announce its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2012 later this month, but the carrier has today confirmed that the quarter saw its “best-ever” sales of both Android and iOS devices. More than 10 million smartphones were sold during the three-month period, with an average of more than 110,000 smartphone sales a day.
