Galaxy-S4-Mini

Earlier today, Verizon posted the official update documents for an upcoming OTA upgrade for the scaled-down variant of Samsung’s former flagship smartphone of 2013, the Galaxy S4 Mini. The paperwork reveals that the handset is set to receive the longly-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software build, in addition to support for the Galaxy Gear.

Samsung unveiled its ultra-portable Galaxy Tab 3 variant, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, back in April, 2013, and three months later the device was available to purchase in the U.K. for £179. However, Amazon U.K. is currently offering the 7-inch 8GB white Wi-Fi slate with the discounted price tag of £99.

Nexus-5-Android-4-4-1

Earlier this week, Google released the Android 4.4.2 OTA update for all the Nexus devices it currently supports. Unlike the Android 4.4.1 update that was rolled out last week, the latest update to KitKat only fixed a few under-the-hood bugs and patched a major security loophole.

The roll-out of the Android 4.4.2 OTA update has been pretty quick from Google’s side and chances are you must have already received the OTA update notification on your device. However, if you are rooted, the OTA update will fail to install on your Nexus device.
