Monthly Archives: December 2011

The DROID 4 has been flip-flopping around the web for the past month with its leaked release dates, images, and specs. We now know it’s not going to be released this month and has been pushed to a possible February release. Speculation has the DROID 4 delayed due to lackluster RAZR/Rezound sales and the recent Galaxy Nexus release. Whatever the case may be, it was foolish of them to even consider another DROID variant so soon after the release of the DROID 3 (released about 6 months ago). While the DROID 4 maintains the OG DROID slide-out form, this recent iterations appear to look more like a DROID RAZR thanks to its RAZR tweaked corners. If you haven’t had enough leaked images to fill your appetite for this upcoming device, consider this your lucky day.

It’s no secret Sony Ericsson is hard at work preparing their 2011 Xperia portfolio for Android 4.0. Sony Ericsson has finally outlined its list of devices that will be receiving the Ice Cream sandwich upgrade along with a less vague timetable as to when these updates will begin. Starting late March/early April, SE will begin rolling out ICS to its first batch of devices with the rest being updated around late April/early May. Sony Ericsson also points out that not all devices of the same model will receive the updates at the same time due to carrier handling. Below is a complete list of SE devices set to receive the update and their expected update schedule.

Grand Theft Auto III for Android brings the infamous brutal street crime your used to playing on your console, and puts it in the palm of your hands. The mobile version does not disappoint, and comes packed with features such as:

A mysterious Sony Ericsson device marked LT28 was spotted in a Bluetooth SIG listing and looks to be the US variant of the Sony Ericsson Nozami (aka Xperia Arc HD). This beast of a phone is believed to have a 1.5GHz dual-core chipset, 4.55-inch 720p Sony Reality Display, a ridiculous 13 MP back-illuminated camera, LTE and HSPA radios and a front-facing camera capable of 720p video. The Sony Ericsson LT28 also shows as “coming later” and with North America availability. Perhaps we will get a glimpse of this “super phone” at CES. Of course that 13MP camera has us all intrigued and there’s actually a few shots posted on the Xperia Blog that were taken by the LT28. Check a few of them out after the break.

Ordering a Papa John’s pizza from just about anywhere has just become a reality for Android users. Papa John’s has released an app into the Android Market that allows users to view the entire Papa John’s menu and place an order, all while on the go.
