Samsung-Galaxy-Mega

Samsung has today announced the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3, two super-sized smartphones that make the Galaxy Note II look rather small. Both devices look similar to the new Galaxy S4, but their internal specifications are nowhere near as impressive.

The Galaxy Megas are more entry-level to midrange devices, with dual-core processors, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8-megapixel cameras. They do run the latest Android 4.2 operating system, however, and they have built-in infrared blasters that’ll let you control your television and other devices.

They claim Babel aims to be “everything we have ever asked for in a unified messenger service,” with cross-platform syncing and a “first class iOS experience.”

Samsung has today confirmed that the new Galaxy Note 8.0 will launch in the United States on April 11, priced at $399. The device will be available in-stores and online from a number of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Staples, and TigerDirect.com.

The images reportedly come from a Google employee, and they show Babel running on a desktop. Not only do they confirm the service’s name, but also a number of its features.
