LG is said to be working on a mini variant of the G2 that could compete with devices like the Galaxy S4 mini and the HTC One mini. It’ll be a smaller and slightly cheaper version of the flagship device with a 4.7-inch display, but sources say it’ll pack a high-end Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM.

When you buy a midrange smartphone, your chances of getting a next-generation Android update are pretty slim. But if you own a midrange Samsung device, you could be in luck when it comes to Android 4.4 KitKat. A leaked Samsung document suggests the South Korean company is investigating the possibility of bringing Google’s latest Android release to devices like the Galaxy S4 mini, the Galaxy S III mini, and even the Galaxy Ace 3.
