The nasty memory leak that has plagued Lollipop since the platform’s debut last fall is still lingering in the latest Android 5.1 release, according to some reports, but Google says it already has a fix for it.

The only problem is, it doesn’t yet know when it will be available to the public.

After announcing the new One M9 at Mobile World Congress earlier this month, it looks like HTC is set to finally give U.S. customers a release date. The company today began teasing a “BIG” announcement for Wednesday, March 18.

HTC’s new One M9 may not be a groundbreaking improvement over its predecessor, but it’s an excellent smartphone nonetheless. If you’re itching to get yours, you’ll be pleased to know it’s set to make its retail debut this month.

While it may seem unlikely, it is possible for someone to intercept and steal your data when you browse the web on an open Wi-Fi network. But Google VPN, a feature’s that baked (but not yet enabled) into Android 5.1 is designed to prevent that from happening.
