Google has confirmed it is catching up with the latest Unicode standards and bringing a whole bunch of new emojis to Android. The company has also tweaked the design of some existing ones — and you can see them all in the image below.

OnePlus has announced that it will begin selling the OnePlus 2 without an invite at midnight on December 5, just in time for the holidays.

No, this isn’t another limited-time promotion; OnePlus is now scrapping its invite system completely for its latest flagship. The Chinese startup will also offer open sales on the new OnePlus X once a week.

HTC is expected to finally deliver its long-awaited One watch early next year. A reliable source claims the new device, which will likely run Android Wear, will make its debut in February.

Google has been slow to adopt the latest emoji sets, meaning Android users cannot see certain icons used by iPhone-owning friends. But the company has promised to catch up, and it starts with a Nexus update that will begin rolling out next week.
