Google has started rolling out a minor update to Google Keyboard adding support for more languages and laying down the framework to bring spoken emojis to it down the line.
Every Thursday we bring you a report on a particular accessory we’ve been using over the course the past week and today we’re focusing our attention on Google’s minimalistic and relatively functional ‘Snap Case’, which made its debut appearance back in May 2013 alongside the search engine giant’s flagship smartphone — the Nexus 5.
Fleksy, the award-winning smart keyboard company, announced today that it is in the process of rolling out major updates for both its Android beta and Galaxy Gear applications. The first bundles support for 15 new languages, together with significant accuracy improvements for all supported languages which now exceed 35 in total, and the second includes compatibility for Samsung’s first smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear 1 (formerly known as the Galaxy Gear).
OnePlus has had no problem selling its new smartphone — after all, who doesn’t want a flagship phone for $299? — but there have been tremendous problems with availability. The same can be said for the company’s official accessory lineup, but a teaser posted on Twitter today suggests its first SwapStyle cover will be available to purchase later this month.
Google updated Chromecast this week to finally enable Android Mirroring, a feature which lets you beam everything you see on your Android-powered smartphone or tablet to your TV. It’s great for showing off your photos, surfing the web on the big screen, and for enjoying content inside of apps that don’t yet offer direct Chromecast support.
