Google has long been telling us its Nexus smartphones will take great pictures, but even with the many camera improvements it brought to the Nexus 5, we’re yet to see it deliver on that promise. Will the Nexus 6 be different? The gallery below features some of the first photos taken with Google’s latest smartphone.

HTC has promised Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrades for its One M8 and last year’s One M7 “within 90 days of receiving the final software from Google.” The Taiwanese company had already confirmed upgrades for both of these devices, and now we know they could be here before the end of the year.

NVIDIA has today confirmed that its new Shield gaming tablet will be getting an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade “and more.” The Shield, like Google’s new Nexus 9, is powered by NVIDIA’s latest Tegra K1 processor.

If you’ve got a Nexus 4 or 2012’s Nexus 7, there’s no need to worry about upgrading your hardware to get Android 5.0 Lollipop. Google has confirmed that both of these devices will be receiving its latest software update, along with the Nexus 5, last year’s Nexus 7, and the Nexus 10.
