It’s officially official, Verizon has announced that the date we’ve all been speculating about, will in fact be the launch date for the DROID RAZR MAXX. This Thursday, January 26th, the DROID RAZR MAXX in all of its 3300mAh glory, will be available on Verizon for the starting price of $299 with a two-year contract. We all know this is what the original RAZR should have been, and it’s a shame Verizon had to once again, screw their customers.


If you haven’t heard of Dead Zebra or their Android mini collectibles, they are quite a collectors treat. Every so often, Dead Zebra puts out a limited quantity of these one-of-a-kind figurines and believe me, they sell out fast. Their latest Chinese New Year collection features Fortune (祿), Blessing (福) and Longevity (壽). These three guys were primarily created for DZ’s partners in Asia, but they’ve decided to bring a few sets over to the US!


The Dolphin browser is one of the most popular 3rd party browsers available and they are constantly adding new features to remain one step ahead of their competition. Today they have announced a couple of new add-ons that are sure to get Dolphin users excited. Teaming up with Evernote, Dolphin has added not only an Evernote add-on but also one for Skitch as well.


Samsung continues firing at Apple with their latest barrage of Samsung Galaxy S II ads. You won’t see any more “Samsunged” catchphrases, but there’s plenty of the usual jabs being taken at the expense of a certain “other” device. These ads are spin offs of previous ads and feature the “creative barista” and his urban camping friends, as well as a love triangle between an iFan, a sales lady with a Samsung Galaxy S II, and voice-to-text.


Our favorite music-in-the-cloud service has received a pest control update. Nothing major has been included but they have fixed a couple nasty bugs. These fixes are related to shuffle mode and multiple accounts. If you’ve been having issues with either of these functions, you should be all patched up and ready to go.
