It’s officially official, Verizon has announced that the date we’ve all been speculating about, will in fact be the launch date for the DROID RAZR MAXX. This Thursday, January 26th, the DROID RAZR MAXX in all of its 3300mAh glory, will be available on Verizon for the starting price of $299 with a two-year contract. We all know this is what the original RAZR should have been, and it’s a shame Verizon had to once again, screw their customers.

The DROID RAZR MAXX is essentially the same exact phone as the RAZR with the only new feature being that of the added 3300mAh battery for improved battery life. For those of you who don’t mind constantly charging your phone, you’ll also be happy to know the price of the original RAZR has dropped $100 (16GB) model.
