Archos has today unveiled a new family of affordable Android smartphones aimed at budget-conscious consumers and emerging markets who wish to get their hands on a capable device that doesn’t cost too much. There are three devices in the lineup, ranging in price from $99 to $250.

Subatomic Studios has announced on Facebook that its latest titles, Fieldrunners 2, will finally launch on Android next Wednesday, more than nine months after making its debut on iOS. The title will be identical to its iOS counterpart, with the same 20+ hour campaign and the same awesome visuals.

Google-One-Today

Google has launched a new Android app called One Today that allows users to donate money to nonprofit organizations. The service displays information about a different nonprofit every day, and you can choose whether or not you’d like to support the project by donating a dollar.

I’m sure we’ve all been on the end of a VoIP call with someone who likes to type loudly while you’re talking to them. It’s rude and it’s annoying, particularly if they’re using a microphone built into a notebook. But a new feature built into Google+ means you’ll never have to hear that sound again during a Hangout.

Google+ now automatically mutes your microphone when it detects that you’re typing, saving other participants from your tap-tap-tapping.

Verizon-Galaxy-S4

Verizon Wireless has announced on Twitter that it will begin selling the new Samsung Galaxy S4 on its 4G LTE network in May. The carrier hasn’t provided us with a specific date, but it has promised that more details will be available soon.
