Motorola has always made phones with bold colors and design aesthetics, and the Google-owned company’s upcoming DROID lineup is no exception. Evleaks has shared a leaked rendering of the new DROID Ultra in dark red. “Ultra’s full Kevlar backplate shows off the new shade, and apparently the white edition even has a totally blank face to boot.”

Google just sent press invitations out for an event to be held on July 24th, hosted by Android and Chrome chief Sundar Pichai.

Other than stating “Please join us for breakfast with Sundar Pichai,” the invitation doesn’t betray any details about what Google’s announcing, but it’s a strong possibility that we’ll get a look at the next build of Android.

Not much is known regarding Google’s plans for Android 4.3, so we’ll have to see what kind of surprises Sundar has up his sleeves. The event starts at 9AM PT and will be livestreamed on YouTube

We’ve heard hordes of rumors indicating that a new Nexus 7 variant is on its way, but we have had little proof that the device actually existed… Until now, that is. An anonymous source has leaked an inventory screenshot for the new Nexus 2 7″ revealing the expected retail prices of both the 16GB and the 32GB.

LG-Optimus-G-Pro

The Optimus G Pro launched in Korea, back in February, and has steadily expanded to other countries around the world ever since. LG has officially announced that it plans to increase the availability of the G Pro, making it available in 40 countries throughout the period of Q3; this includes countries in Europe, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Latin America and the Middle East.

The popular lecture and presentation application, TED, has received a solid new update in Google Play. The upgrade brings the inclusion of over 20 new languages, which enables users to listen to presentations and view subtitles; thanks to some superb volunteers participating in TED’s Open Translation Project.
