Okay, this next one comes from a Korean site and claims that LG is prepping a competitor to the yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy S III. While I always have trouble deducing what exactly is going on in a translation, I’m thinking these are the claims of the author and not LG. So what we basically have here is a rumored device to compete with another rumored device. If you’re interested in comparing rumored specs against the specs of well… rumor, then by all means check out the LG D1L.

Oh no, whatever will we do? Turns out HTC’s $300 million dollar investment in Beats Audio isn’t quite paying off. Apparently people don’t really care about Beats (they could have hired me for a hell of a lot less than $3 million and I would have told them that) and even worse — people don’t choose smartphones based on headphones (who would of thought). I know you’re sad to see them go but in the famous words of the King of Pop: “Just beat it.”

Lenovo has introduced its latest tablet this morning in a Youtube video showing off the tablet’s features. The latest out of Lenovo is called the IdeaTab S2109, and while it doesn’t have the best name in the world, the tablet’s specs mixed with Android 4.0 make it a pretty nice offering. Check out the full specs:

Boy did Sergey set himself up for this one. While internet trolls and meme generators pull overtime ripping Sergey Brin for showing up to a benefit for the blind wearing a prototype of what could very well be the most innovative glasses, well.. ever — we’re just going to say get over it. I mean Robert Scoble is wearing glasses too, should he be chastised for improving the way he sees the world just because he’s at a benefit (that they both are undoubtedly heavy contributors to)? Moving on.

HTC is extremely proud of the new EVO 4G LTE and wants to give consumers an inside look at what went into designing this soft touch, hairline finished, kickstand beast of a phone. It’s a neat look into the design process and shows that they don’t just slap on any old chassis and call it a day. There’s been a lot of complaints about the glossy top half on the back of the device as most users seem to prefer the soft touch, but we’ll have to wait until we actually have it in our hands before we can make an official judgement.
