Sprint and social network startup Path are getting cozier. The two companies have announced a partnership of sorts. Sprint will place Path in the “Discover It” widget it preloads onto newer Android devices like the Galaxy S4 and HTC One. In turn, Path will reap the benefits of being displayed front and center to all of Sprint’s Android users.

We told you it was coming, and it’s finally here. Subatomic Studios has released Fieldrunners 2 for Android in the Google Play Store, and it’s priced at $3.

“Doo” is a new document management service that recently launched on the desktop. Today the app arrived on Google Play for Android phones and tablets.

Think of doo as the hub for collecting and categorizing your various documents from different sources. You can sync with services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and email to pull in documents and view them all in one place.

HipChat is the software we Cult of Android writers use to chat with each other throughout the day. It’s a pretty good solution for communicating with a group of people across different platforms, but the Android app has been lagging behind.

Not so with today’s 2.0 update. HipChat has redesigned its official Android app to feel more like an Android app. The whole goal of the redesign is to “better conform to Android’s latest design guidelines.”
