iPhone-iOS-7-vs-Android-HTC-One

Apple made a lot of significant changes in iOS 7, and some of those will be instantly familiar to those who are running the latest versions of Android. As is often the case, Apple has “borrowed” certain features from rival operating systems, and we’ve counted at least seven that were part of Android first.

Europeans will next year be able to take their smartphones anywhere within the EU and enjoy calls, texts, and data without paying a penny more than they do at home. Expensive roaming fees are set to be scrapped by July 1, 2014, after the European Commission voted to fast-track a major overhaul of telecoms regulation.

Apple and Samsung may have signed a deal for Samsung to produce Retina displays for the iPad mini, but on the legal front, the bitterness between the two companies hasn’t sweetened one bit.

Samsung’s CEO has that his company has no plans to sign a peace treaty with Apple regarding the 50 ongoing patient disputes the two companies are fighting on four continents.

Shin Jong-Kyun, CEO of Samsung Electronics was addressing reporters about the company’s recent share price fall, when he made comments about not signing a deal with Apple, according to a report from The Korea Times. During his press conference, Shin also provided a rebuttal to a JPMorgan report that claimed the Galaxy S4 isn’t selling well:

I never make snarky remarks about gadget’s name (well, almost never). It’s tough enough being a marketing guru — what with the treacherous task of having to choose font colors for product brochures or painstakingly constructing diabolical puzzles that keep the purchaser occupied for hours as he tries desperately to separate the gadget from its box — without some jerkwad tech blogger jeering at you.

But if there were a product I’d wince at and say “really?” when I looked at the name, it’d probably be the MobiAria (but I won’t. I won’t!)

Moxtra makes it easy for a team with members spread all over the country (or globe) to collaborate on the same project. Media and documents can be stored in Moxtra’s “binders,” which can then be annotated with drawing tools, voice recordings or screencasts — even in realtime. Up till now, the free app has only been available on iOS, but earlier this week it finally arrived for Android.

On the iOS side, Moxtra gets some shiny new features.
