It’s no secret that I love Android. I spend countless hours talking about it, writing about it, and best of all — enjoying it. I mean, what’s the point if you’re not having fun… right? Well, I want to make sure everyone is having as good a time as I am and enjoying as much of the available content as possible. That’s why I’ve decided to start randomly giving away Google Play gift cards in Cult of Android’s “Shall We Play A Game?” feature.

I hope you haven’t grown tired of dismembering the undead because Gameloft plans on unleashing another horde of zombies onto Android an iOS this Halloween. You’ll soon have the opportunity to play the part of Stuntman/Movie Star extraordinaire, aimed with ridding the entertainment capital of the world of walking corpses (and I’m not talking Joan Rivers). Arm yourself with weapons sporting wacky names like “Widow Maker” and the “Cyclops,” then annihilate anything without a pulse (pretty much all of Hollywood).

Jean-Baptiste Queru announced Android 4.1.2 to AOSP today, something he calls a “minor update.” While it may be “minor,” reports of the update hitting the Nexus 7 have confirmed one improvement that I’ve been wishing for since I bought my Nexus 7 — landscape support for the home screen.

Samsung has taken a break from announcing “The Next Big Thing,” to announce the smaller, entry-level Galaxy Music. This mini-speaker that makes calls features a 3-inch QVGA(240×320) TFT display, dual frontal stereo speakers, 3MP fixed-focus rear camera w/ no flash, Android 4.0, 4GB on board storage (expandable microSD up to 32GB), 512MB(RAM), an unspecified processor and a 1,300mAh battery.

Atrix 2 users woke up to a nice surprise today. AT&T has decided to finally treat Atrix 2 users to Ice Cream Sandwich. The update, which began today, will bump up Atrix 2 users from that tired ol’ Gingerbread and have their device feeling brand spanking new.
