Samsung has published another teaser video entitled “Expect Note” that hopes to excite Galaxy Note fans ahead of the company’s Unpacked event at IFA next week, where it will announce the latest addition to its phablet family. The one-minute clip again hints at a focus on handwriting and S Pen stylus improvements.

Samsung has reached an agreement with Nokia to secure exclusive rights to its HERE maps service as it looks to give its Android users a new alternative to Google Maps. The new HERE app for Android will only be available on Galaxy-branded smartphones and tablets, and there will be a HERE companion app for Samsung’s new Gear S smartwatch.

Still waiting for an invite to purchase the OnePlus One? So are thousands of others — but come October, the device should be a great deal easier to get hold of. OnePlus has today confirmed that it is finally preparing to abandon its invite system altogether and introduce a more traditional pre-order system instead.

AT&T has halted its rollout of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the HTC One M8, just days after it began releasing it to customers over-the-air. It seems the current build introduces a nasty bug that causes severe battery drain, and AT&T hasn’t yet confirmed when a new one will be available.

But the South Korean company accidentally revealed this little secret prematurely in a press release that was issued in Germany. As you may have already anticipated, it’s going to be one of the most expensive Android Wear devices to date.
