The year isn’t quite over yet, but Google has wasted no time in highlighting its best Android apps and games of 2015. The list includes hit titles like Fallout Shelter, Clash of Clans, and Lara Croft: Relic Run — plus awesome apps like Google Photos, Twitch, and Telegram.

Amazon will roll out a new, standalone video streaming service next year that won’t be bundled with a $99 Prime subscription, according to sources familiar with its plans. The retail giant hopes to take on rivals like Netflix and Hulu and undercut their prices in an effort to attract customers.

Popcorn Time for Android, the app that lets you stream movie and TV show torrents directly to your device, now allows you to download content and enjoy it offline. The much-anticipated feature is baked into Popcorn Time’s latest beta release, which also brings lots of bug fixes, adds support for physical keyboards, and lets you customize the color of your subtitles.
