Amazon has discounted the Fire Phone to $0.99 on contract just three months after it first went on sale for $199. The move follows lukewarm reviews and a report that revealed less than 35,000 Fire Phones had been sold during its first two months of availability.

UPDATE: The Fire Phone is now available to pre-order on O2.

The Amazon Fire Phone’s exclusivity to the U.S. market will be short-lived with the device set to go on sale in the U.K. later this month, just three months after it first made its debut. It’s expected to be exclusive to O2, and sources say an announcement could be made as early as this week.

HTC has resumed its rollout of Android 4.4.2 KitKat for HTC One handsets in the U.K. three weeks after the release was pulled. Customers on Vodafone, Three, and O2 should see the update soon if they haven’t already received it.

Tesco Mobile has today announced that it is giving all contract customers in the U.K. 4G LTE services at no extra cost. They will continue to pay the same price they’ve been paying for 3G, but they’ll get significantly faster speeds in 4G areas throughout the country.

Carphone Warehouse has today started taking pre-orders for the LG G Flex, and as you might expect, prices are pretty steep. You’ll have to pay at least £49 ($80) up-front for the handset, while the cheapest tariff is £52 ($85) per month for two years.
