Just a day after Sony released an Android N Developer Preview for the Xperia Z3, an unofficial port has been made available for the Xperia Z2.

The ROM contains everything you’d expect to see in Android N, but you’ll need to be prepared for more bugs.

Sony has begun its rollout of the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for handsets in the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 families. In addition to the usual Lollipop features, it brings LinkedIn integration, camera improvements, better enterprise support, and more.

You no longer need a Nexus device to get your hands on Android M early. Sony has made the Developer Preview available on a dozen Xperia devices, including the flagship Xperia Z3, but you’ll need to flash it all by yourself.

MultiROM, the popular tweak that allows users to boot between an almost unlimited number of ROMs on their Android-powered smartphones and tablets, now supports Sony’s latest Xperia devices. So, if you can’t decide whether you want CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, or Sony’s stock firmware, you can now install all three and switch between them.
