Hisense Pulse is a new set-top box powered by Google TV that was first announced at IFA back in August. Its $100 price tag makes it one of the most affordable ways to introduce Google TV to your living room, and it comes with some nice features. There’s a problem I often run into with my mobile devices, and that’s not enough storage space. The BBC has issued an update to its iPlayer app for Android, introducing a number of new features that include improved video performance over W-Fi, and support for smartphones and tablet running the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software. It has also vowed to continue improving the app for Android users, though it notes that the process will take some time.

Announced at CES 2012 in January, Verizon’s Jetpack MiFi 4620L is finally launching on April 12th, Verizon announced today. The Jetpack MiFi 4620L packs 4G LTE and 3G and will be available for $50 with a two-year contract, after a $50 mail-in-rebate. If you don’t yet have a Verizon LTE enable iPad, this will be a nice way to get Verizon’s blazing fast 4G speeds on all of your devices.
