Apple sure is making us wait for the iWatch, and if recent rumors are to be believed, that wait isn’t about to end any time soon. LG’s new G Watch goes on sale around the world today, and already the device has been given its customary teardown from the repair experts at iFixit. Despite its size, the new Android Wear smartwatch is surprisingly easy to get into, and even easier to repair — earning a repairability score of 9 out of 10.

HTC Watch, the movie store that comes pre-installed on HTC devices, will close in the United Kingdom on March 31. HTC confirmed the news in an email to users this week, and the company encourages them to download movies to their devices if they wish to keep them.

HTC is expected to give carriers a “sneak peak” at a brand new smartwatch powered by Google Now at Mobile World Congress next week, according to “a person with direct knowledge of the plans” who has been speaking to Bloomberg. The prototype device is said to be the first of three new wearables from the Taiwanese company.

Developers are making some pretty awesome apps for the Pebble smartwatch, but Chrono could be one of the most significant to date — at least for its creator, Rick Ucker.

Ucker built the simple app to propose to his now fiancée, who bought him the $150 smartwatch for his birthday.
