We’re all eagerly anticipating Samsung’s Unpacked event on March 14 in New York City, when it will announce the Galaxy S IV, its flagship smartphone for 2013. But to ensure you’re suitably excited, the Korean company has published a cheesy new teaser video. Check it out below.

Snapchat’s new video sharing feature has today arrived in Google Play, ten days after it was first released as a beta. The new feature, which first made its debut on iOS almost three months ago, comes as an update to the existing Snapchat app, and allows users to send short, self-combusting videos to their friends.

We now have less than a week to wait for HTC to unveil its next flagship smartphone, and to ensure you’re suitably excited, the Taiwanese company has started a countdown on its website that will finish on February 19. But it’s not just a simple timer; in the background quick glimpses of the upcoming HTC One are shown every few seconds.

As video surveillance goes, Netgear’s VueZone system is about as easy and user-friendly as it gets. But does VueZone sacrifice power and performance for ease-of-use? We tested the two-camera system, which cam with two motion-detecting cameras, four magnetic mounts and the master gateway for $290. It also came with a one-month trial subscription to the Premier service subscription; the no-frills Basic service, which allows you to montitor up to two cameras remotely from your computer, is free.

Amazon prides itself on offering affordable Android tablets, and so it likes to point that out whenever it gets the opportunity to do so. Usually this means taking a swipe at more expensive devices, and it’s Apple’s iPad that’s on the receiving end again in the company’s new commercial.

Focusing on the high-resolution displays in both devices, Amazon suggests that “you may not be able to tell the difference” between them… until you look at the price tags.
