Another bad day for Verizon and its 4G LTE network. Apparently a large number of LTE users have been experiencing a nationwide 3G/4G outage. The reports began rolling in around 11 AM and seem to be sporadic but expansive. This marks the third nationwide outage Verizon has experienced this month, and it seems to only affect users of a 4G LTE device. The reason for these outages has yet to be given, but you can be sure there are thousands of Verizon customers upset and looking for a credit.


The DROID 4 has been flip-flopping around the web for the past month with its leaked release dates, images, and specs. We now know it’s not going to be released this month and has been pushed to a possible February release. Speculation has the DROID 4 delayed due to lackluster RAZR/Rezound sales and the recent Galaxy Nexus release. Whatever the case may be, it was foolish of them to even consider another DROID variant so soon after the release of the DROID 3 (released about 6 months ago). While the DROID 4 maintains the OG DROID slide-out form, this recent iterations appear to look more like a DROID RAZR thanks to its RAZR tweaked corners. If you haven’t had enough leaked images to fill your appetite for this upcoming device, consider this your lucky day.

The Rezound is a top tier device that hasn’t garnered the respect it deserves due to bad release timing (RAZR and Galaxy Nexus). The NFL has announced that NBC’s broadcasts of wild card Saturday, the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl will be available online as well as via Verizon’s NFL Mobile app. This will mark the first time said events were streamed through a mobile platform and it comes as no surprise that their partner Verizon gets the honor.
