Monday is here… *sigh*. While you were busy trying to accomplish every “to-do” relax over the weekend, a few stories developed that you may have missed. I’ll briefly round-up a couple bits of information here for you to catch up on and then let you get back to enjoying your Blue Monday.

No one was really surprised when it was announced that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III would have a locked bootloader yet the news was still disheartening to hear. Then Samsung dropped down like an angel from the heavens with a landing page for an unlocked “Developer Edition” Samsung Galaxy S III for Verizon. Customers could’t wait for the “coming soon” to be dropped and have themselves a proper Galaxy S III on Verizon.

It was only the other day that Verizon updated its NFL Mobile app and already they’re offering up a slick promotion. For this weekend only, users will be able to enjoy free NFL Mobile Premium Access and all the perks that come with it. That means live Sunday and Monday night games as well as unlimited access to NFL RedZone and NFL Network.

Looks like Verizon was waiting until they had a device on their network that was actually running Android 4.1 before updating their NFL Mobile app. I guess that makes a bit of sense, however, they still could have pushed out Android 4.1 sooner. Back to the subject at hand: NFL Mobile.

I almost feel guilty complaining about being the last Galaxy Nexus to see Jelly Bean… almost. It’s great that we’re finally getting it, but a little ridiculous considering Verizon was the first U.S. carrier to launch it. If you’ve been patient and remained on stock all this time, you’ll soon be rewarded with Jelly Bean as the SW Version JRO03O support page is now live on Verizon.
