HTC is today pushing out a rather large unexpected over-the-air update to all its unlocked One Mini handsets currently located in Hungary. According to the changelog, the upgrade brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and the latest version of Sense 5.5 to the device, together with a multitude of additional bug fixes, speed optimizations and stability improvements, as well as a bunch of new soundtracks for the built-in Video Highlights feature.

Yesterday, just 6 days after Google started rolling out the latest build of Android 4.4.2 Jelly Bean to all its Nexus devices, the team at Mountain View began to push out the exact same upgrade for the Google Play Edition of HTC’s flagship smartphone, the HTC One.

Earlier today, Verizon posted the official update documents for an upcoming OTA upgrade for the scaled-down variant of Samsung’s former flagship smartphone of 2013, the Galaxy S4 Mini. The paperwork reveals that the handset is set to receive the longly-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software build, in addition to support for the Galaxy Gear.

UPDATE: LG has since released a statement to confirm that is has not released Android 4.4 KitKat for the Optimus G.
