SwiftKey-5

SwiftKey, one of the biggest and best third-party keyboards for Android, today received a major update that adds a plethora of awesome new features. In addition to support for premium themes and a theme store, SwiftKey version 5 brings emojis, a dedicated number row, and an improved prediction engine.

And best of all, it’s now completely free.

Pocket-Edition

Mojang has rolled out its “biggest update ever” for Minecraft: Pocket Edition, adding unlimited worlds, tons of new content, and a multitude of tweaks, fixes, and improvements. Players will be able to enjoy a plethora of new blocks, mobs, blomes — and a new AI that brings spiders, leaf rendering, drip particles, and an “immersive mode.”

HTC-One-M8-blur-adjust

HTC has updated its Gallery app to give One M8 owners the ability to adjust Ufocus blur levels manually when editing their images. The update also brings Dimension Plus and Pan 360 to last year’s One M7, and it’s available to download now from Google Play.

The Cyanogen team has pushed out its latest CyanogenMod 11 M7 upgrade for more than 50 devices. The update brings an improved Theme Chooser and Calculator app, the ability to secure apps with a passcode, and improvements for Bluetooth and low-memory devices.

Google is in the process of developing and testing a new feature for Glass, the world’s most advanced piece of wearable technology. The recently developed experimental functionality is currently being rolled out to all Explorers via an OTA software update, once installed users will be able to view incoming notifications by simply glancing at the screen, instead of having to nod their head or tap  the touchpad whenever the traditional notification chime is heard.
