T-Mobile is sending out invites to its latest press event that is set to take place July 10, 2013, in New York City. There’s not much to see on the invite, unfortunately, which ultimately means we have no idea what to expect from this event. But the carrier is promising to show off its “boldest moves yet.”

However, the carrier has clearly heard our cries for help, and is now pushing out an update for all One S owners in an effort to fix the battery bug.

T-Mobile USA has confirmed that it will carry the Sony Xperia Z this summer, finally putting an end to all the rumors that have been circulating since the device was spotted back in April. The carrier will become the only provider in the U.S. to offer Sony’s waterproof smartphone, which has been available in Japan and Europe since January.

MetroPCS is now ready to start selling devices that run on T-Mobile’s 3G HSPA+ network, which means this is the beginning of customer migration from MetroPCS to T-Mobile. The migration has begun ahead of schedule, coming just six weeks after the newly-appointed T-Mobile began trading.

On Friday, June 14, an FCC filing for the new Nexus 7 began circulating online, suggesting the tablet’s launch date was getting pretty close. After some extra digging, new information is emerging about the device, including its support for LTE on almost all of the major carriers in the U.S.
