If you have an older HTC smartphone, you’ve probably been itching to get your hands on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 since HTC announced the flagship One earlier this year. The Taiwanese company has already confirmed that an update will be made available to a number of existing devices, but it hasn’t yet confirmed when it will arrive.

According to one source, you can expect it to hit the HTC One X around June or July.

When HTC announced the new HTC One earlier this month, the company also announced its latest Sense 5 user interface alongside it. Now existing HTC smartphone owners are itching to know whether they’ll be getting it, too. Today the Taiwanese company has announced that a select number of devices will be upgraded in the future — but a lot of the specifics remain a mystery.

The HTC M7, the next flagship Android handset from the maker of the Droid DNA, is expected to go on sale in the United States on March 8 — just over two weeks after its rumored press event on February 19. It’s currently unclear which carriers will offer it, but the device is expected to come in black and white, according to a source familiar with HTC’s plans.

Not only are these the clearest shots of the device we’ve seen to date, but they also show off its new Sense 5.0 user interface, and a new button arrangement beneath the display. This isn’t believed to be a final version of the device, but it’s likely to be the closest we’ll get until its official unveiling.
