Google’s ‘Year in Search’ report was released this morning providing an insight into what’s on the mind of world’s internet users, and when it comes to technology, the iPhone 6 was the most popular tech search of 2014.

The Apple Watch also appeared on the top 10 list, taking the number 8 spot followed by the iPad Air as number 10 in the Consumer Electronic category. The Nexus 6 managed to pull in to third place, while Samsung had two devices in the top 5.

Here’s the full top 10:

Samsung could be planning to bring forward the unveiling of its much-improved Galaxy S6 by making a surprise appearance at CES 2015 in January. Sources familiar with the company’s plans in South Korea say a second device — a Galaxy S6 Edge — will also be shown off alongside it.

With a possible Galaxy S6 unveiling less than two months away, you can expect to start seeing a few leaks — and this one could well be one of the most revealing. It allegedly shows a prototype Galaxy S6 with super slim bezels down the side of its display, and a much-improved earpiece and front-facing camera layout.

Before you get too excited, however, we’re not completely convinced.

The design of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S6 may be under lock and key, but its specifications are already appearing in AnTuTu benchmarks. If the results are true, fans can expect a 5.5-inch 2K display, Samsung’s new 64-bit processor, and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Samsung’s Gear VR virtual reality headset is here, but if you want one, you’ll need a Galaxy Note 4 and $199 to spare. The device is available to order now direct from Samsung’s online store and from AT&T in the U.S., and it comes with a 16GB microSD card loaded with 360-degree movies and games. You’ll have to pay extra if you want Gear VR earphones or a gamepad, though.
