Samsung Developers Conference

The Samsung Developers Conference (SDC) sent an email out Friday to tell interested registrants that there has been “intense interest” in the conference, and that they are running out of tickets for the event. Cult of Android will be there in the flesh, so stay tuned for more details during the event.

The conference is set to have Mozilla evangelist Christian Heilman, head of Samsung Media Solutions America, Curtis Sasaki, and the head of the Open Innovation Center, David Eun, among other celebrated speakers.

The email also mentions a healthy dose of swag for attendees, so if you’re an Android or other Samsung developer looking for a good conference, and you like getting free stuff, this may be the one for you.

We’ve long heard whispers that claim Asus will be making Google’s next-generation Nexus 10, and according to this photograph of one retailer’s inventory, those whispers look increasingly accurate. The image was supposedly snapped inside a PC World store in the U.K., and it indicates the new Nexus 10 will be priced at £349 (approx. $563).

Samsung has today released a new My Galaxy app for users in the United Kingdom, which promises to help you “get the most out of your Samsung Galaxy.” The app helps you find accessories for your Samsung smartphone, get support for services and features, and access exclusive offers only available to Samsung Galaxy users.

Starting today, AT&T is rolling out an over-the-air update to all of its Galaxy Note II devices. The upgrade weights in at 165MB, and although it doesn’t bring any major software improvements, it’s still quite a significant update that we would advise any Note II owner to download.

The U.K.’s largest 4G LTE network, EE, is introducing a new trade-in scheme, dubbed ‘Swap,’ which enables its customers to trade in their current smartphone in return for the latest new one, providing they are at least 6 months into their 18 or 24 month contract, and the phone is in good condition.
