Galaxy_S5

Samsung is known to pre-load a lot of applications a.k.a bloatware on its Galaxy devices. When the Galaxy S4 was unveiled last year, the company received a lot of flak because its bundled applications left only about 9GB of free internal storage space on the 16GB variant.

This year, things have actually gotten worse as the 16GB Galaxy S5 only comes with 8GB of free internal storage space out-of-the-box.

Fleksy Keyboard Gear 2

Makers of the popular Fleksy predictive keyboard app have decided to bring the keyboard to the Samsung Gear 2 smartwatch. According to the developer, Fleksy is the first third party keyboard app to collaborate with Samsung for the Gear 2.

Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched yesterday with much aplomb in Barcelona. During the course of the announcement, Samsung announced that the smartphone will feature a quad core Snapdragon 801 chipset. But there was nothing specified about an octa core model, which was a tad surprising.

They may still be wrapped in an ongoing patent dispute, but Apple and Samsung have temporarily put aside their differences to tell the European Union that it should cut down on the ability of companies that license patents to win court rulings limiting product sales.

Apple and Samsung are just two of 19 companies and associations who put their names to the letter, which seeks to battle patent trolls who don’t manufacture actual products but instead rely entirely on license fees.
