Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Samsung Push app that could improve the woeful battery life on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. The update is available now from Google Play, and it promises to reduce data usage and power consumption.

The curved glass display on the Galaxy S6 edge may be considered somewhat gimmicky, but that hasn’t stopped it from being incredibly popular.

According to one report out of Samsung’s native South Korea, the S6 edge has sold just as many units as the regular Galaxy S6 since the devices made their debut on April 10.

Samsung has proven with the new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge that it really can make a premium smartphone that looks and feels like it is worthy of a high price tag. The S6 Edge is so premium, in fact, that it costs more to make than the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

After years of disappointing design choices, Samsung stepped up its game with the Galaxy S6 and delivered a device that not only looks great, but has the specifications and software to match its high-end form factor.

It’s no surprise, then, that fans cannot wait to get their hands on the device. In fact, it’s already selling so well that Samsung is confident the Galaxy S6 will be its best-selling smartphone to date.

While the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge aren’t officially available until April 10, customers who pre-ordered their devices through T-Mobile have already begun receiving them. But many aren’t as happy as you might expect them to be.

Some early adopters are reporting a number of issues with the Galaxy S6 Edge’s display, including surface scratches and even dead pixels.
