After Android 4.3 Jelly Bean arrived on the Galaxy S III last month, Galaxy Note II users have been eagerly anticipating an update of their own. And although it hasn’t quite made its way into consumer hands yet, it looks like it is close, with Samsung service centers now getting the release.

Samsung has today posted an official TV commercial featuring the new Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. The 30-second clip highlights the handset’s new faux leather backing, how its S Pen stylus can be used to “take action instantly,” and a number of TouchWiz features like AirCommand and Multi Window.

There’s also a brief glimpse at the Galaxy Note 3’s official Smart View case.

Now that Samsung has finally uncovered the Galaxy Note 3, you’re probably wondering when you’ll be able to pick one up in the United States. Well, the first official launch dates come from AT&T and T-Mobile, both of which will be offering the device next month. T-Mobile will also be selling the counterpart Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

Samsung appears to be gearing up to launch yet another threat against the iPad with two new slates that’ll boast mouthwatering 2560×1600 displays. One is expected to offer a 10-inch screen that’s just slightly bigger than the iPad’s 9.7-inch display, while the other will be a larger 12.2-inch model.
