The beta version of the popular note-taking application, Evernote, has received quite a beefy update on the Google Play Store. This upgrade brings some great new features, one of which being the ability to store and share handwritten notes that you’ve created on either your Android-powered smartphone or tablet.

Earlier today, a leaked image appeared online revealing that Google is expecting to launch its flagship smartphone anodized in red on Tuesday, February 4. The handset will be available directly from the Play Store and is believed to be priced from $120 upfront on a two year contract, or $350 with no contract at all.

Back in 2012, Google introduced Chrome for Android and paved the slow and steady way to replace the AOSP browser with it. With the Nexus 4, Google stopped shipping the AOSP browser on Nexus browser and instead replaced it with Chrome for Android.

With KitKat, Google completely killed the AOSP browser and even stopped actively updating it.

Nokia Normandy, Nokia’s first Android-powered smartphone, has appeared on a Vietnamese retailer’s website ahead of its official debut. The much-anticipated device is expected to show its face for the first time at MWC next month, and it could launch with support for a number of Google services — including the Google Play Store.

Motorola’s custom Gallery application, which ships as standard on the Google-owned company’s Moto X, Moto G and Droid range of smartphones, is the latest in a long line of apps to make its way onto the Play Store for ‘easy updating.’ To celebrate the launch, Motorola has decided to give the app a little makeover, with a new light color palette and a slide-in hamburger menu mounted on the left-hand side of the screen.
