HTC-One-black

As promised earlier this year, HTC is in the process rolling out the first batch of its eagerly-awaited Sense 6.0 over-the-air (OTA) update to all unlocked models of its former flagship smartphone, the One (M7), currently located in Canada. This upgrade also brings a few other major improvements, including a new camera app, enhanced BlinkFeed, Extreme Power Saving mode and a transparent status bar.

Google-Camera

Google finally gave the AOSP camera app the makeover it deserved last month, renaming it Google Camera. In the process, though, the company removed a lot of features including a countdown timer and the ability to take time-lapse videos.

Today, Google is rolling out a minor update for the app that brings back a feature that never should have been removed in the first place — the ability to click pictures while recording a video. 

Motorola

Motorola is currently rolling out a rather hefty update in the Play Store for its browser-based notification app, Connect. The upgrade now allows users to view and respond to both multimedia and group text messages directly from Google Chrome on their PC or Mac.

Spotify-new-iPhone

Spotify is in the midst of rolling out its much-anticipated darker theme update for Android three weeks after it made its debut on iOS. In terms of added functionality, this hefty upgrade brings a completely redesigned user interface, together with refreshed typography and rounded iconography. According to Spotify, “Playing your favorite music has never looked so good.”
