The Nexus 6 has been available to order through Google Play for over two weeks now, but getting hold of one has been incredibly difficult. Google appears to have very little inventory, and when new stock comes in, it sells out within minutes. It should come as no surprise, then, that retail supplies are going to be seriously constrained, too.

If you’ve already ordered your new Nexus 6, you now need a case to go with it. After all, that giant 5.9-inch display isn’t likely to fare well if you drop the device on the ground. But Case-Mate has you covered; its first two official Nexus 6 cases are coming soon to the Play Store now, with prices starting at $35.

Microsoft Office is coming to Android tablets, and you can be part of a select group of users who will get the opportunity to test it ahead of its Play Store debut. Microsoft is now accepting registrations from those who would like access to its beta, which brings the mobile versions of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint to bigger screens.

In addition, the software giant has announced that all Office mobile apps are now free to use.

Google Maps for Android is the latest Google app to get a Material Design makeover for Android 5.0 Lollipop, following the improvements to Calendar on Monday. It’s not just more colorful than it was before, however; you’ll also find new services built–in, including Uber and Open Table.

Google’s been hard at work overhauling all of its apps for Android 5.0 Lollipop, and we’ve already seen the fruits of its labor inside the latest versions of Gmail, Google+, and Google Play. The next big update will be for the search giant’s Calendar app, and it will deliver a gorgeous new look and awesome new features.
