Google has greatly improved its default Android keyboard for Lollipop, not only by giving it a Material Design overhaul, but by adding new features as well. One of those is the ability to add a number row and other special keys to the keyboard, but enabling them can be pretty tricky. Here’s what you need to do.

Developers may be free to release (almost) whatever they like for Android, but with Android TV, things are going to be a little different. Google will screen and approve Android TV apps before publishing them in the Play Store to ensure a good experience for its users, according to its guidelines for developers.

Google Keep is the latest Android app to get its Material Design makeover for Android 5.0 Lollipop. Its new update, which is rolling out now via Google Play, delivers a flatter, more colorful look, as well as performance improvements and bug fixes.

Google’s given a fresh lick of paint to many of its own Android apps for Lollipop, while others have been completely rebuilt from the ground up. One of those is Messenger, which replaces the aging Messaging hub and breathes new life into traditional text messaging.

Lollipop is the biggest Android upgrade we’ve seen in years. Not only does it add new features, but it also makes some significant changes to existing ones, and introduces a very attractive Material Design makeover. It’s is so significant, in fact, that it may take a bit of getting used to.
