Despite currently offering what is arguably the best Android handset ever produced, things are going from bad to worse for HTC. The Taiwanese company’s profits have been heading the wrong way for a number of years, and in Q3, it expects to see its first operating loss since going public in 2002.

The new Nexus 7 won’t get its official unveiling until later today during an Android event with Sundar Pichai, but thanks to Best Buy, we already know all there is to know about the new 7-inch slate — including what it will look like, and its full list of specifications. HTC has at last officially announced the smaller version of its flagship HTC One, and if you haven’t already guessed it… It’s called the One Mini! The device is a smaller, slightly less powerful edition of its flagship variant, but it still packs most of the unique features that made the original One so popular.

HTC has begun teasing the upcoming HTC One Mini in a strange infographic that lists “little things that pack a big punch.” The Taiwanese company clearly hopes to change the belief that small means compromising ahead of the One Mini’s launch, which is presumably not too far away.
