HTC has updated its Gallery app to give One M8 owners the ability to adjust Ufocus blur levels manually when editing their images. The update also brings Dimension Plus and Pan 360 to last year’s One M7, and it’s available to download now from Google Play.

There are plenty of positive things to say HTC’s nifty DotView case for the One M8, but its lack of support for third-party notifications isn’t one of them. Fortunately, those with a rooted device can now take advantage of an unofficial tweak to change this themselves.

After a few leaks and an accidental unveiling, HTC has gone ahead and made its polycarbonate unibody version of the One M8 official in China. The handset, dubbed the One (E8), comes with a lower price tag whilst retaining almost all the features and specs of its premium sibling.
