One of the biggest complaints about the Nexus 4 has been its dismal storage capacity. While we’re used to Nexus devices lacking microSD, having 16GB as a maximum storage option just doesn’t cut it these days. It would appear that even T-Mobile was rooting for expandable memory as they are listing the Nexus 4 as being expandable up to 64 GB with a microSD card (oh, how I wish).

Did you miss your window of opportunity today when the Nexus 4 randomly popped in and out of the Play store? Not to worry, T-Mobile has your back and is completely content with reaching into your pocket to steal your hard earned money. Starting tomorrow, select T-Mobile store will begin selling the LG Nexus 4 for $499. Yep, you read that right, a whole $150 more than what its selling for on the Play store — and yes, it’s the exact same device.

Well, the Nexus 4 hit the US Play store this morning at approximately 8:30 PST, and in just 30 minutes was sold out. There have been instances of people being able to snag one here or there since then, but for the most part, the Play store has been sold out. So, the Nexus 4 sold out in less than 30 minutes, does that mean it was a success?

Google is only hours away from stockpiling the Play store with Nexi galore. Sometime after midnight (PST) the Nexus 4, Nexus 10, and Nexus 7 32GB/3G are expected to go on sale here in the US. Rumors have already been flying around that the Australia Play Store quickly sold out, and judging by the giddy schoolgirl reactions I’m seeing on Google+, I’d say the same will happen here in the states.

Now that Google has unveiled its Trifecta of Nexus devices, I can’t help but feel underwhelmed. I can’t exactly pin-point why I feel this way, but alas, I do. Perhaps my perception of what a Nexus device should represent has become misguided. I’m not sure when I began to expect more than just a Vanilla experience, but the latest batch of Nexus devices has knocked me back to the reality that “Nexus” means nothing more than having an untainted Android OS with certain end-user freedoms and timely updates.
