If you head over to the Google Play Store quickly, you’ll find decades of classic albums still on sale for an amazing $2.99. Finding any album for $2.99 is a steal, but when those albums are full of culture cultivating music from legends such as Bob Marley, John Legend, Miles Davis, and others, it’s simply something you can’t pass up.

Starting August 12th, Sprint will be offering customers a free 7-inch ZTE Optik tablet with the purchase of any smartphone. That means, anyone wishing to, could actually grab the free Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus and walk away with a free tablet!

Thunderbolt users have been unsure whether or not they’d be left out to dry when it comes to being updated to Android 4.0. While HTC promised many devices (including the Thunderbolt) would see Ice Cream Sandwich sometime in July/August, users are starting to get anxious, an so the doubt begins.

Google has slowly been introducing its cleaner, richer, more interactive search answers. You may have noticed these interactive “card-like” results when searching for “weather” or “120 X 50.” Google continues to refine its search tools and yesterday announced a few improvements to make these interactive results even better.

 

Like we said, Passbook in iOS 6 is going to steal a few tricks from flight apps like Mobiata’s $5 FlightTrack (and $10 FlightTrack Pro), making the apps seem somewhat less valuable.

Whether or not Passbook replaces these types of apps remains to be seen; in any case, Mobiata isn’t going down without a fight, and has just released an all-new, free version of their FlightTrack app for both iOS — and Android.
