As promised, the HTC DROID DNA is now available on Verizon for the subsidized price of $199.99. There’s a lot I like about this device, however, I simply can’t get past the 16GB internal storage with no room for expansion thanks to the lack of microSD. 16GB just isn’t enough for me but I know it’s just fine for many of you (just look at N4 sales).

‘Tis the season for deals! We’re fast approaching Black Friday, a dark day in humanity when Americans trample each other in an attempt to score a free Emerson DVD player. I’m certainly not interested in camping out in front of a store, however, I am interested in knowing what kind of deals will be offered on our beloved Android devices.

If you’re a Comcast subscriber and have been using the XFINITY TV Player app on Android or iOS, there’s a sweet little update waiting for in your respective app market. Sometimes the only thing getting in the way of enjoying one of your favorite TV shows or movies on your mobile device is a bad connection or no WiFi. Thankfully, Comcast is taking care of this issue by allowing users to download some of their favorite content straight to their device to be viewed at a time when a connection may not be available.

Skype for Android received a much needed update today, bringing the app to version 3.0. Changes made in the updated app include tablet optimization, improved audio, ability to sign in and merge with your Microsoft account, as well as the usual bug fixes.

You can’t expect people to shop at your store if you don’t have what they’re looking for. Google has been working hard to fill the Play store with all the content users crave. We’ve seen it grow from the once Android Market, with little in the way of apps, to the now Play store, full of apps, music, movies, books, and more.
