If you’re itching to see Nokia unveil its first Android-powered smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, then you’ll be pleased to know you can watch the entire thing live from the comfort of your own home. The Finnish firm has today confirmed that it will be live-streaming the announcement via the Nokia website.

HTC will announce its new midrange Desire 8 handset on Monday, February 24, at an event in Beijing. The company has just begun issuing invites to the press, one of which was published on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo.

We already know the Galaxy S5 is likely to sport a 16-megapixel camera, thanks to a sample photo that was published on Flickr earlier today. But Samsung looks set to make other changes to improve its photography capabilities, too.

The South Korean company has today teased a new LED flash module on its blog that “will be used in the next Galaxy smartphone.”

A sample image taken with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S5 all but confirms that the new handset will feature a 16-megapixel real-facing camera. The otherwise boring photograph was taken with a “Samsung-SM-G900A,” according to its accompanying EXIF data, and it boasts a 5312×2988 resolution.

Huawei is planning to unveil a number of new devices at Mobile World Congress next week, and for some strange reason, the Chinese company thought it would be a good idea to tease them with a fake iPhone running an embarrassing Siri clone.
